You will look at the social determinants of health and how they show up in your own patients, apply prevention, health promotion, and disease control, and integrate mental health into routine care instead of treating it as a separate track. The course also covers how to plan a behaviour-change campaign, and how to give whole-person, community-centred care that treats the person and not only the presenting complaint. It fits any healthcare practitioner with a valid SCFHS registration who wants a public-health lens for the bedside and the community, and it sits alongside our course on integrating public health into clinical practice rather than repeating it.
