For accredited activities inside the Kingdom, you do not type your CME hours into Mumaris Plus yourself. The activity provider posts them to your CPD record. Your job is to complete the course, keep your certificate, and check that the hours appear. With Mulhim, posting takes 24 to 48 business hours.
What does Mumaris Plus CME registration really mean?
Many colleagues search for a button in Mumaris Plus to add their CME hours. For activities held in the Kingdom, that is not how it works. Mumaris Plus is the SCFHS record of your professional registration, and your CPD record inside it is filled by the accredited providers whose activities you complete. Renewal then reads what has been posted to that record. Your certificate proves you finished. The posted entry is what counts toward your target.
So "registering" your hours comes down to choosing accredited activities, finishing them properly, and confirming the provider has posted them. If you took an activity outside the Kingdom, the route is different; see claiming CME hours from external courses.

Step by step, with Mulhim as the example
- Check your target. Open Mumaris Plus, read your category and the hours still due: 20 for technicians, 40 for specialists and pharmacists, 60 for physicians and dentists.
- Pick a bundle that covers the gap. Every Mulhim course is SCFHS accredited and gives 5 CME hours.
- Complete each course and its assessment. You have 6 months of access, so set a pace you can keep.
- Download each certificate from your Mulhim dashboard and save it in one folder.
- Mulhim posts your hours to Mumaris Plus within 24 to 48 business hours of completion.
- Open your CPD record and confirm each activity is listed with its hours.
From course to record: the timeline
Business hours exclude weekends and public holidays, so a course finished late in the week may appear after the weekend. Plan your last course with that in mind if your renewal is close.
What does a full record look like?
Take a specialist with a 40-hour target who starts from zero. Eight Mulhim courses at 5 hours each make 40. When everything is posted, the CPD record should list eight separate activities, each showing 5 hours, and the total should read 40. If you count seven lines and 35 hours, one course has not been posted yet, and you know exactly which one to chase.
A physician needs 60, which is twelve courses of 5 hours. Checking line by line is slower than glancing at the total, but it is the only way to spot a single missing entry early. I suggest checking after every two or three courses instead of waiting until the end. For a closer look at that screen, see how to check your CPD hours and activity status in Mumaris Plus.
Which habits cause missing entries?
- Skipping the assessment. A course is complete only when every part is done, the assessment included.
- Checking the record on the same day. Posting with Mulhim takes 24 to 48 business hours, so an empty record an hour after you finish is normal.
- Losing the activity details. Without the provider name, approval number and date, a Tawasul request is much harder to follow up.
- Assuming a certificate equals posted hours. Renewal reads the record, so the certificate alone does not close your gap.
When the hours do not appear
Give the posting window time to pass. If the hours are still missing after that, follow this order:
- Make sure every part of the course, including the assessment, is complete.
- Contact the provider and give them the course name and completion date.
- If the provider cannot resolve it, raise a Tawasul ticket with SCFHS including the provider name, the activity approval number and the activity date.
Choose your hours
Mulhim is fully accredited. Each bundle gives 6 months of access, and your hours are posted for you.
Before you buy, it helps to run through the SCFHS licence renewal CME checklist so you only add the hours you need.
