Attendance and Absence Policy for Courses:

The course preparation policy on the platform follows the systems of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the National Center for E-Learning.

The attendance policy on the platform is as follows:

First: For synchronous courses, training is delivered live at specific times, with the trainer providing direct instruction via broadcast. The Mulhim Platform for Continuing Medical Education provides a live broadcast method similar to Zoom, where only enrolled participants can enter, and their full names appear on the certificate as confirmation of their attendance via their username. Attendance is monitored by the platform's team, and for additional security, attendance is recorded both at the beginning and end of the course.

Second: For asynchronous courses, training is provided through videos and educational files. Trainees can attend at any time within a sufficient period to complete the course. To maintain credibility, several measures are in place: the course can only be accessed using the subscriber's username; the real name provided during subscription is used on the certificate; an obligatory evaluation test is administered after watching the course. Each course includes 20 to 30 questions in the database, from which 10 questions are randomly selected for the test. The questions differ for each participant to reduce cheating and fraud. The platform technically mandates that each participant watches the entire course video, without the option to skip to the end, ensuring full completion.

Third: The mechanism for obtaining educational hours applies only to synchronous courses after verifying the participant’s full attendance. The platform requires full attendance for each course or lecture, and no certificate of attendance or educational hours will be awarded to any participant who is absent for any reason. Additionally, no refund will be issued if there is an issue with the participant's registration number with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties or delays in sending the registration number.
